The Miami County Agricultural Society Presents:
Annual Food Truck Competition and Rally

Thank you for your interest in the Miami County Agricultural Society’s Food Truck Competition and Rally a fund raising activity for our 168 year old organization. This event will be held at the Miami County Fairgrounds on Saturday May 20, 2017.
The event is free and open to the public. The goal for attendance is over 10,000. Miami County Fairgrounds is a family-friendly environment. Volunteers will be on site throughout the event to guide visitors, assist vendors and help with all logistics.
There will be a fee to food truck vendors. Registration will be your only admission to the event, although truck entries will be juried. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and will begin accepted February 1, 2017. Application to the event does not signify acceptance. You will be notified of your acceptance. You will also be notified in April of your location on the fairgrounds.
The event will be open to the public from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM so that attendees may come for lunch, dinner or both. The Miami County Agricultural Society will have an outdoor beer and wine garden with alcoholic beverages available for patrons. Vendors will be allowed to sell non-alcoholic beverages.
Arts & Crafts Vendors will be on hand for all your cash and carry items. If interested in a 10 x 10 booth space, please contact the office at 937-335-7492.
You must have a valid Ohio Mobile Food Service License or your must apply for a Temporary Mobile Food Service License. You must apply for your license no later than April 15, 2017.
The Miami County Agricultural Society will take care of scheduling inspections by the Miami County Health Department on the morning of the event. Vendors may start arriving at 8:00 AM and must be positioned for the event and ready for inspection by 10:00 AM on the day of the event. Your food truck must be fully self-contained. There will be water fill up available but not for on-going hook up. You must have your own potable water hose.
You must provide your own self-contained Mobile Food Cart/Truck and signage and menu must be visible to patrons. A valid Mobile Food Service License/Temporary Food Service License; completed application, certificates of insurance and indemnification naming the Miami County Agricultural Society must be submitted by April 15, 2017.
MIAMI COUNTY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide patrons, arrange for inspections, solid waste disposal, and provide security, advertising and award prizes.
Vendor is required, at its sole expense and cost, to carry and maintain, for the mutual benefit of itself, the Miami County Agricultural Society, Miami County and their boards of directors, commissioners, officers, agents, employees and volunteers, a policy of general liability insurance against claims for personal injuries, wrongful death, or property damage occurring on or about the Miami County Fairgrounds premises with minimum amount of coverage of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence on account of bodily injury and/or death to one person and/or on account of damage to property. Vendors shall also carry business, automobile liability insurance with limits of at least one million dollar ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence. Vendor agrees to deposit said policy or policies (certificates thereof) with the Miami County Agricultural Society no later than April 30, 2016. Said policies will name Miami County Agricultural Society and Miami County Commissioners as additional insured. These policies’ will be issued by an insurance company reasonably acceptable to the Miami County Agricultural Society and shall bear an endorsement to the effect the insurer agrees to notify the Miami County Agricultural Society, not less than ten (10) days in advance of the event of any modification or cancellation of the policy.
