2022 Camping Rules
YOU MUST CHECK IN AT CAMP OFFICE PRIOR TO PARKING YOUR TRAILER/TENT. Passes will be handed out at this
time and not before.
● NEW 2022 CAMPING POSTCARD MUST BE DISPLAYED IN CAMPER WINDOW.
● CURFEW IN CAMPGROUNDS IS 12:00 MIDNIGHT
● AT LEAST ONE ADULT PERSON OVER 18 MUST STAY IN EACH CAMPER AT NIGHT

PLEASE NOTE THE RATE INCREASE FOR 2022
- A non-refundable payment must be received on or before Monday- MAY 2, 2022 (for Big 50, Livestock and Horse ONLY) at 5:00 p.m. to reserve your campsite for the 2022 fair. *The camping committee has the right to fill this spot for the 2022 fair, if the non-refundable deposit is not received by the due date and time.
- NEW 2022: ALL CAMPING RESERVATIONS WILL INCLUDE THE CHOICE OF 1 MCAS *MEMBERSHIP OR 1 SEASON PASS. YOU WILL BE PROMPTED AT CHECKOUT WHICH YOU DESIRE. YOU MAY ALSO PURCHASE EXTRA DURING THE CHECKOUT PROCESS. *Membership requires Miami Co Resident with proof and must be 18 years of age.
- Camping fees cover the period of Thursday, August 11 th thru Friday, August 19, 2022. To allow for final mowing please no campers brought to the fairgrounds before Tuesday, August 9th , 2022.
- PLEASE GET PERMISSION TO MOVE IN EARLIER. IF PERMISSION GRANTED AND YOU MOVE IN PRIOR TO THE TUESDAY AUGUST 9TH MOVE IN DAY, YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $30.00 PER DAY. FAILURE TO PAY WILL RESULT IS FORFEIT OF SPACE FOR 2023 AND YOU CAN RETURN TO THE CAMPING WAIT LIST.
- 2022 Camping Fees
- Big 50 Camping: $325.00
- 50 Amp Camping/Big 50 camping spaces are large enough to park (one) vehicle in the space with the camper. Please be kind and stay within your own camp space. A hang tag is needed for the vehicle parking in the camp space. Hang tag will be given at check in.
- ○ Livestock and Horse Camping: $250.00
- ○ Non Electric/Generator Camping: $200.00 ( Registration to begin after July 1st)
- Non Electric/Generator Camping spaces are large enough to park (one) vehicle in the space with the camper. Please be kind and stay within your own camp space. A hang tag is needed for the vehicle parking in the camp space. Hang tag will be given at check in
- Please ensure your sleeping vehicles, camper, trailers, etc. will fit in the designated space. Slide-outs and awnings are allowed but when extended must fit inside your campsite. If your slide or awning obstructs your neighbors’ site, you will be asked to put in the obstruction.
- The camping committee reserves the right to move a camper to a larger site to ensure the safety of others and ease of access for emergency vehicles.
- Campers may be removed on Friday August 20, 2022 UNLESS prior written permission (early release form) has been accepted by the camping Chairperson or President-Fair Manager.
- Dump station will not be available for use until FRIDAY August 19st at 8:00 a.m. During fair dumping is contracted by our portable dump and water contractor. This service by the contractor is an extra fee. Must register the day before the need. No same day service.
- ALL campers must be backed in to aid in removal in event of fire or another emergency. Special consideration must be given by the camping chairperson.
- Electricity will be available /turned on at electric boxes at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday August 9, 2022.
- No extra waste containers/blue belly containers permitted.
- Campers must leave 36” of space between camper and electric boxes. Electric boxes must be accessible with the door open.
- All trailers, campers, trucks or other vehicles used for living purposes during the Miami County Fair must be parked in designated areas only.
- All camping sites will be numbered. YOU MUST DISPLAY YOUR NUMBERED CHECK IN CARD IN WINDOW.
- The first and last names of all occupants staying in the sleeping vehicles, camper, trailers, etc, must be listed on the check-in form. Person signing the application will be responsible for the names that appear on the application. If any camper is asked to leave the fairgrounds for violation of camping rules, then all the people on the camper list will be subject to the same. They will forfeit their campsite for the following fair.
- Electric hook-ups are to be proper receptacles only and only one extension cord per camping unit. Use UL approved heavy-duty extension cord only.
- All premises around camping units are to be kept clean and sanitary. Trash to be placed in barrel containers and no dumping of any holding tanks will be permitted. No throwing of trash in manure dumpsters.
- No vehicles permitted to park in the camping area without appropriate hang tag or short term to unload or load.
- No continuous water hook-up allowed. Water can be delivered during the fair by our portable dump and water contractor. This service by the contractor is an extra fee. Must register the day before the need. No same-day service.
- No non-contained, open or on the ground/grass fires permitted.
- Alcoholic beverages permitted in designated areas only.
- No dogs, cats or other animals are permitted to be housed in the camper or in the camping area.
- All general rules in the fair book will be enforced in the camping area.
- The Camping committee for the 2022 fair is as follows: Chairman Jeff Carpenter, Dan Bodenmiller, Valerie Townsend and Jarett Winner along with Nick Shellenberger Board President/Manager.
